The rates shown are the UK standard, reduced and zero rates for April 2026 to April 2027. Select the rate applicable to the supply; the calculator does not determine eligibility. A zero-rated supply is not the same as an exempt or outside-the-scope supply.

VAT is rounded once to the nearest penny on the entered total, with half a penny rounded up. Invoices, retail schemes and mixed-rate transactions can use different rules. This estimate does not calculate VAT return liability.
